No knowledge of the world at large is complete without actually travelling, observing and experiencing the diversity of people, places and culture. Learning opportunities beyond classrooms is assured through national and international educational tours at Chennai Public School.

Our students have had fabulous opportunities to travel all over India as well as foreign countries for student exchange programs. The professionally organized trips offer the best places of educational value, historical and industrial interests, national monuments, heritage spots, and entertainment zones for a new learning ambiance under the direction of responsible faculty members. This exposure render students the chance for informal learning environment, gain new perspectives, build closer bonds with their classmates, experience new environment and enjoy a day away from the classroom.

International Educational Trips

To widen the horizons of learning among our CPSites, international educational tours and exchange programs are organized every year.

• Student Educational Trip to Australia: CPS partnered with the Department of Education and Communities (NSW), Government of Australia to venture Student Educational Trip to Australia. Visits and classes related to themes such as Designing and developing Formula 1 Race Cars (Scale Models), Environment / Marine studies were the highlights apart from experiencing Australian Education System and Culture.
• Futuresake: Yet another pioneering program is Futuresake , an experiential learning experience on sustainability Development at NUS, Singapore. This program aims to trigger curiosity and activate creative thought processes among Generation Z in order to build a smarter future and transform GenZ into a Generation of Solvers.
• Nature Turks: It is an Environment Conservation program focussed on learning initiative. This program sensitises students about the adverse human impact on the environment even as they equip them with relevant knowledge, skills & capacities to positively impact their immediate communities.

Thus students get to interact with their global peers abroad, understand their curriculum, learning styles, teaching methodologies, varied culture and values, political ethos, architecture and indeed gain invaluable insight into lifestyles in the foreign land. The best part of these trips is the experience that students get as they learn to live together, be independent and responsible, adjust with each other and develop these powers of human relations.
